About the role

We’re looking for a technically strong, creative, and detail-oriented Business Development Manager to hunt for new business, cross-sell, and guide customers through the full sales cycle. You’ll partner closely with our Inside Sales team, distributors, and network and cybersecurity vendors to increase revenue and maximise profits.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales process from account identification and outreach to discovery and closing deals
• Create and manage target accounts and develop sales pipeline
• Provide pre-sales technical advice and product recommendations aligned to customer business requirements
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure a smooth sales process
• Meet with partners and customers as required
• Undertake ongoing product training to maintain and improve product knowledge
• Obtain product certifications as required by vendors to maintain partner levels
• Follow up and report on leads from external sources
• Perform other related tasks as required

Skills & Experience

• Experience in the IT Channel
• Fast and accurate computer skills
• Excellent telephone and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, organise, and prioritise work
• Positive attitude with a strong passion for sales
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of CRM systems (Zoho or similar)
• Strong focus and time management skills for remote work
